2024 Summer School Information
**The information below will also be included when final report cards are mailed home the week of June 24th
We have options listed below to help your student fulfill the academic requirements, remain on track for graduation and be eligible to participate in sports and activities, if needed. Certain courses are graduation requirements and have to be remediated over the summer or be repeated in a future school year, whereas some courses do NOT have to be taken in summer school. **If you have questions regarding your student and required classes, please contact the high school guidance office at 609-653-0100 ext 1620 or 1622. After the last day of school, please contact Mrs. Elko ([email protected]) for assistance as all school counselors will be out of the office for summer break.
Pathway 1: Summer School Course Recovery at the Egg Harbor Twp High School
Dates: July 1 - August 1 from 10:00-12:00 (Monday - Thursday). This pathway is available for select core academic courses only (English I, English II, English III, English IV, Algebra I, Algebra IA, Algebra IB, Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, Core Science, Chemistry, Physics, World Cultures, US History I, US History II, Spanish, French). Elective courses cannot be taken through this option. Space is limited. No cost for this option. Transportation must be provided by the family.
Students will be dropped from the course recovery summer school program if they have 2 or more absences.
For FREE in-person summer school, please complete the Summer School Sign Up form https://forms.gle/2ZpTC5DWmDxCFm2u5 as soon as possible but no later than June 30, 2024. Once courses and rosters are set, you will be contacted with additional details.
Pathway 2: Educere (Fully Online)
Online Credit Recovery: Most courses $195
Course Dates: Self-paced. Grades must be submitted by August 23, 2024
